What is the Problem?
Many Christians think that their faith cannot be substantiated or proven by any logical or rational discourse; therefore, they avoid all discussion of God or Christ in situations where they might be called upon to defend their faith.
What is Apologetics?
Apologetics is the rational defense of the Christian faith, using the rules of governing historical evidence, the rules of evidence in courts of law, and the principles of logic and philosophy – and when appropriate, scientific evidence.
What is the Goal of Apologetics?
The goal is to present excellent evidence for a proposition logically leading to an INFERENCE TO THE BEST CONCLUSION. This is the standard used for all historical research and in courts of law. This is the highest standard possible for non-repeatable events.
What is Our Primary Objective?
Our goal is to work together to determine the TRUTH about GOD and the saving grace of Jesus Christ by employing the methodology of SYSTEMATIC CONSISTENCY – working logically and consistently to show that a proposition fits all the facts known in our experience.
